 Masako Le Summer Student University of California, Davis Masako Le was born and raised in San Mateo, California. She is currently a molecular biology / biochemistry and Japanese double major student at the University of California, Davis. Thinking about a possible career in the medical field, she volunteered at the UC Davis Medical Center Emergency Department from January 2009 - June 2009. During summer 2009, she joined the Bhargava Lab and gained some valuable research experience by studying CRF receptor trafficking and their connection to stress-related illnesses. She is also planning to study abroad in Japan for a quarter in the fall of 2010 to enhance her cultural and language skills and explore possible future career opportunities abroad. |
